Every academic year, our Graduate Fellows develop and facilitate interactive workshops on a variety of teaching and learning topics. These workshops focus on foundational pedagogical knowledge and skills, and provide a space to reflect on and discuss teaching and learning with peers from across the disciplines. Graduate Instructor of Record and Teaching Assistant Training
Graduate and post-doctoral students who will be responsible for teaching their own course at Rice may enroll in our asynchronous, self-paced training through Canvas. See the Self-paced Courses page for more information and enrollment links.
Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning
The Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning (GCTL) is intended to provide participants with a combination of formal pedagogical training, practical experience, and mentoring that will prepare them to be effective college teachers and instructors.
