The CTE welcomes partnerships with faculty who are preparing grants related to undergraduate education or graduate training and curriculum.
Consultations
Meet with CTE faculty during the proposal development phase to explore:
- Educational theories and frameworks
- Pedagogical research methods
- Design, adaptation, and implementation of evidence-based materials and practices
- Assessment of student learning
Programming and Instruction
Incorporate CTE programming and courses into training and mentoring plans:
- Reading groups
- Learning communities
- Symposium on teaching and learning
- Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning
Sustained Research Collaborations
Partner with CTE faculty for ongoing research needs:
- Collaborative training grants
- Grant evaluation services
- Subject matter expertise
- Letters of collaboration
Timeline
- For letters of collaboration, we recommend contacting us at least one month before the proposal deadline.
- For more intensive collaborations (e.g., CTE faculty member as co-PI), we require at least two months to review proposal materials and provide input before the deadline. However, we encourage you to reach out to us as early as possible during the proposal development phase.
