The CTE is hiring!

The Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) at Rice University in Houston, Texas, invites applications for an assistant teaching professor and assistant director. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, non-tenure track faculty position with a dedicated administrative component. Applicants with teaching experience in any discipline will be considered, but experience in a Center for Teaching and Learning or demonstrated interest in faculty development is preferred. The successful candidate will show promise in (i) teaching engaging graduate and undergraduate courses in pedagogy, (ii) developing faculty and graduate student programming on evidence-informed and innovative teaching methods, (iii) creating evidence-based workshops and materials on inclusive pedagogy, (iv) enriching and engaging in a collegial center environment, and (v) promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
